Job Title: Medical Unit Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Unit Registered Nurse to join our team at Brant Community Healthcare System (BCHS). As a Medical Unit Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to patients on the medical unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to patient care.
  • Contribute to the education and training of new staff members and students.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited college or university nursing program.
  • Registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Current emergency nursing experience is an asset.
  • Proven critical thinking skills, creative problem solver with a solution focus and patient-centered approach.
  • Demonstrated commitment to exceptional customer service with patients, families, staff, colleagues, and community partners.
