Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Server to join our team at IHOP Fallsview. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, taking orders, and serving food and beverages in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities
  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Prepare and serve specialty food and beverages to customers
  • Present bills to customers and accept payment
  • Describe menu items and make recommendations to customers
  • Greet patrons, present menus, and answer questions regarding food and beverages
  • Serve food and beverages in a timely and efficient manner
  • Take orders and relay to kitchen and bar staff
  • Assist clients/guests with special needs
  • Provide exceptional customer service
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a restaurant or food service environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
