We are seeking a skilled Baker to join our team at Boxcar Donuts Inc. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory goods.
Key Responsibilities- Preparation and Baking: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
- Inventory Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
- Quality Control: Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
- Team Leadership: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff.
- Customer Service: Prepare special orders and ensure that dishes are prepared for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
As a Baker at Boxcar Donuts Inc., you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and physically demanding tasks. You must be able to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads.
Requirements- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
