We are seeking a skilled Nursing Professional to join our team at RhynoCare. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our residents in a variety of long-term and acute care facilities across Ontario and Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide nursing care in accordance with established policy, physician's orders, and the resident plan of care.
  • Utilize sound nursing practice principles to ensure the delivery of excellent nursing and personal care.
  • Ensure timely and accessible admissions, including comprehensive orientation to the home and services offered.
  • Ensure resident transfers and discharges are timely and safe.
  • Ensure the supply, control, and safekeeping of drugs and narcotics, and follow protocols on all assigned shifts.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science – Nursing (BScN), Bachelor of Nursing (BN), or equivalent.
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses.
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Effective, compassionate, and supportive manner when dealing with others.
  • Respect for each resident as an individual, with awareness of their need for self-respect and privacy, and the right to share in decisions about their care.
  • Knowledge of relevant Federal, Provincial, and Municipal Statutes influencing the operation of the Nursing Home and nursing department.
  • Medical Clearance, including TB tests.
  • Vulnerable Sector Police Check and/or Adult Abuse Registry Check.
  • Clear Criminal Record check.

All staff are required to provide proof of vaccination, adhere to COVID-19 prevention protocols, and wear a mask at all times.
