Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Peer Support Worker to join our Acute Care department. As a Peer Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting clients with mental health and substance use issues, providing guidance and resources to help them achieve their recovery goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide emotional and social support to clients living with mental health and substance use issues
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Facilitate access to community resources and services to support clients' recovery goals
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance knowledge and skills in peer support and recovery
