Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Kochin Kitchen Inc. is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish Methods to Meet Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient work schedules to meet the demands of our kitchen.
  • Requisition Food and Kitchen Supplies: Source and procure high-quality food and kitchen supplies to maintain our standards.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities of Staff: Lead and direct the activities of our kitchen staff to ensure seamless food preparation and service.
  • Train Staff in Job Duties, Sanitation, and Safety Procedures: Provide comprehensive training to our staff on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Hire Food Service Staff: Recruit and hire qualified food service staff to join our team.
  • Ensure Food and Service Meet Quality Control Standards: Monitor and maintain high-quality food and service standards to meet customer expectations.
  • Prepare Budget and Cost Estimates: Develop and manage budgets and cost estimates to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Address Customers' Complaints or Concerns: Respond to customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Maintain Records of Stock, Repairs, Sales, and Wastage: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform kitchen operations.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Develop and implement work schedules to meet the demands of our kitchen.

Requirements:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service role.
  • Permanent employment.
  • English as the primary language of work.
  • 30 hours per week.
