Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

H.B. FAMILY FOOD INC. is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality food and service standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish efficient methods to meet work schedules and maintain a smooth operation.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring a high level of quality and presentation.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory.
  • Hire and manage food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
  • Establish work schedules to ensure adequate staffing and maintain a positive work-life balance.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service or related role.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
