Job Description

This role involves designing, programming, integrating, troubleshooting, and supporting automated controls systems. Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing overall system architecture and developing functional specifications
  • Reviewing and developing catalog cuts, phasing plans, and network architectures
  • Designing power distribution systems, single-line drawings, and emergency stop circuits
  • Developing field installation drawings, motor control panels, and interface designs
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • A College Technology Diploma or University Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
  • Experience with electrical control systems design and low-voltage power systems
  • Knowledge of electrical drawings, drafting principles, and NEC/CEC codes
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD and ability to work with installation contractors and end customers
