Position: Materials Manager - Aerospace Industry

Location: Remote (Abbotsford, BC)

Salary: $65,000 - $95,000 per year (depending on experience and qualifications)

Industry: Manufacturing / Industrial / Material Management

Employment Term: Full-time / Permanent

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maximize the ongoing effectiveness, efficiency, and economy of assigned materials through a coordinated effort from all departments.
  • Support continuing maintenance requirements for mechanical systems and equipment.
  • Responsible for material support activities that span the life cycle stage.
  • Participate in the administrative activities of the department, including following and working to develop new administrative practices and procedures.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A secondary school degree or diploma in a related field.
  • 3 - 5+ years of relevant experience in highly integrated aircraft mechanical systems.
  • Proven skills in developing and maintaining strong customer relationships.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, mathematical, and analytical abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and adaptable to changing work demands and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
