Event Services Coordinator

Maritz Global Events is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Event Services Specialist to join our team. As an Event Services Specialist, you will be responsible for the onsite execution of all program and event logistics, ensuring exceptional client/guest experiences by providing superior customer service for Maritz Global Events onsite operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage all onsite logistics for assigned program/event: transportation, registration, hospitality desk, catering, facilities, activities, technology and executive/VIP handling.
- Provide guidance and consultative support to clients and guests.
- Maintain proactive, positive, open line of communication with client to ensure understanding of expectations and client satisfaction.
- Ensure overall attendee and guest experience is exceptional by demonstrating a high level of customer service.
- Regularly maintain and audit assigned internal event spaces.
- Identify areas for improvement and manage running list of maintenance items, submitting requests and following up to ensure issues are resolved.
- Manage team resource documents and various projects as assigned by manager.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
- Strong preference for degree programs in hospitality/event management or equivalent hospitality experience.
- Must possess the ability to read/write fluently in both English & French.
- Excellent computer skills, knowledge of G-suite tools & ability to learn new technology quickly.
- Professional communication, teamwork and leadership skills required.
- Must have ability to work with a flexible schedule that could include last minute changes.
- Must be able to handle physical demands of the position which may include but are not limited to: extensive standing, lifting, etc.
- Must be dependable, flexible, self-directed and able to work with all levels of employees both independently and in a team.
