The Role
We are seeking a Senior Project Planner based out of our Toronto or Montreal office. This role involves providing a complete project planning service to the project team, including producing and managing project time schedules in Microsoft Project or Primavera. The Senior Planner will work closely with the Project Team to oversee the process through to completion and monitor progress relative to the agreed time frame.

Key Responsibilities
• Gather all relevant documentation to fully understand the scope of the project.
• Manage activity coding to support client and internal reporting requirements.
• Facilitate Enhanced Systematic Planning (ESP) sessions.
• Develop and maintain Critical Path Method (CPM) schedules for both studies and execution projects.
• Create project S-curves and other Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for reporting purposes.
• Coordinate sub-contractor manufacturing, procurement and construction plans.
• Lead the development of overall baseline in accordance with contract.
• Monitor critical path/activities based on the project schedule and advise project management.
• Undertake delay analysis and ensure compliance with contract requirements for forensic auditing.
• Ensure accurate, reliable and traceable data from delivery streams to meet reporting obligations.
• Collaborate with clients to reassess, renegotiate and amend scope of work, maintaining open communication and planning reports.
• Verify contractors have approved schedules aligned with project targets.
• Visit site when required.
• Provide assistance to junior planners as needed.
• Contribute to monthly reporting of the project both internally and externally.

Requirements
• English and French language capabilities.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in MS Projects and Primavera P6.
