Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Delivery Courier to join our team at Galactic Transport Logistics Limited. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering and picking up messages, parcels, and other items by hand.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivery and Pick-up Services: Safely transport and deliver messages, parcels, and other items to customers and clients.
  • Communication and Coordination: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods.
  • Transportation of Hazardous Materials: Transport and handle dangerous goods, adhering to all relevant safety protocols and regulations.
  • Event and Conference Support: Accept and deliver messages and packages for events, conferences, or assemblies, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Package Sorting and Organization: Sort packages for delivery, ensuring accurate and efficient routing.
  • Route Planning and Navigation: Utilize maps and other trip planning aids to optimize delivery routes and minimize travel time.
  • Logistical Record-Keeping: Record trip information, including vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any issues encountered.
Requirements
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain a high level of attention to detail, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of goods.
  • Physical Demands: Work in a physically demanding environment, requiring regular lifting, bending, and standing.
  • Flexibility and Teamwork: Demonstrate flexibility and a team player attitude, working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve logistics goals.
  • Experience and Education: Possess 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, with a secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Language and Work Schedule: Fluency in English, with a 35-hour workweek and permanent employment.
