About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join our team at Seabase Newfoundland Limited. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing our financial operations and ensuring the company's financial performance is optimized.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Analysis
    • Develop and implement financial plans and budgets to achieve business objectives
    • Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
  • Financial Operations Management
    • Oversee the financial operations of the company, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management
    • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Lead and manage a team of financial professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of financial operations
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of team members
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis
    • Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and the board of directors
    • Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decision-making
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Experience
    • 5 years or more of experience in financial management, preferably in a similar industry
  • Skills
    • Strong financial planning and analysis skills
    • Excellent leadership and team management skills
    • Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide insights
    • Strong communication and presentation skills
