Job Title: Healthcare Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at Pro-Care Health Services LTD.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care and support to our clients, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being. This is a permanent, 30-hour per week position, with a focus on delivering exceptional care and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accompany patients on outdoor recreational activities to promote physical and mental well-being.
  • Assist with maintenance and repair of medical equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Perform various tasks related to patient care and comfort, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Take patients' vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, to monitor their health.
  • Supervise patients' exercise routines to promote physical activity and mobility.
  • Transport patients in wheelchair or stretcher to ensure safe and comfortable movement.
  • Respond to call signals to determine patients' needs and provide timely assistance.
  • Administer first aid in emergency situations to ensure patient safety.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 30 hours per week
