Heavy Equipment Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Field Equipment Mechanic to join our team at ALPA EQUIPMENT LTD. As a Field Equipment Mechanic, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing heavy equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Key Responsibilities:- Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
- Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required
- Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts
- Keep maintenance reports and documentation
- Welding experience
- Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications
- Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work
- Verify and repair emission control systems
- Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
- Powered equipment repair specialization
- Hydraulic-operated working attachments
- Bondable
- Criminal record check
- Driving record check (abstract)
- Driver's validity licence check
- Own transportation
- Willing to travel regularly
- Willing to travel cross-border
- Willing to travel internationally
- Valid driver's licence
- Travel expenses paid by employer
This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail, flexibility, and a strong work ethic. You will be working outdoors in various locations, and may be required to travel to different sites.
