A. J. Clarke & Associates, a division of TULLOCH, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Designer to join our team. As a key member of our Engineering department, you will be responsible for designing and preparing civil engineering projects, collaborating with project managers, and working closely with engineers to develop drawings and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with project managers on all aspects of project delivery
- Develop drawings from preliminary concept sketches, engineering calculations, and specification sheets
- Complete detailed design calculations for servicing and grading plans, including sewer sizing, road profile design, and stormwater management
- Review project design basis for scope, presentation, and technical accuracy
- 10+ years of relevant civil engineering design experience
- P.Eng. or C.E.T. considered an asset
- Proficient with Civil3D and familiar with stormwater management products
- Understanding of municipal design standards and approvals framework
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
