About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Lead to join our team at Emtar Technologies Inc. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical and electronic components, systems, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop electrical and electronic components, systems, and equipment
  • Conduct simulations, characterization, process modeling, and integration in the development of new electronic devices and products
  • Set up and operate specialized and standard test equipment to diagnose, test, and analyze the performance of electrical and electronic components, assemblies, and systems
  • Supervise a team of 3-4 engineers
  • Develop and maintain computer and technology knowledge, including Internet of Things (IoT), SolidWorks software, AutoCAD, Linux OS, MS Office, MS Windows, Matrix Laboratory (MATLAB), and computer programming
  • Develop and maintain hardware development knowledge, including Verilog, VHDL, and FPGA
  • Develop and maintain area of work experience, including design, project planning, research and development, testing and evaluation
  • Develop and maintain area of specialization, including semiconductor, semiconductors, layout, analog and digital signal, and integrated circuits
  • Develop and maintain security and safety knowledge, including confidential security clearance
  • Develop and maintain transportation/travel information, including travel expenses paid by employer and public transportation available
  • Develop and maintain work conditions and physical capabilities, including fast-paced environment, tight deadlines, and attention to detail

Requirements

  • 5 years or more of experience in electrical engineering
  • Doctorate degree or equivalent experience
  • Confidential security clearance
  • Willingness to relocate
