Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Lead to join our team at Emtar Technologies Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing electrical and electronic components, systems, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical and electronic components, systems, and equipment
  • Conduct simulations, characterization, process modeling, and integration in the development of new electronic devices and products
  • Set up and operate specialized and standard test equipment to diagnose, test, and analyze the performance of electrical and electronic components, assemblies, and systems
  • Supervise a team of 3-4 people
  • Develop and implement computer and technology knowledge, including Internet of Things (IoT), SolidWorks software, AutoCAD, Linux OS, MS Office, MS Windows, Matrix Laboratory (MATLAB), and computer programming
  • Develop and implement hardware development knowledge, including Verilog, VHDL, FPGA
  • Develop and implement area of work experience, including design, project planning, research and development, testing and evaluation
  • Develop and implement area of specialization, including semiconductor, semiconductors, layout, analog and digital signal, integrated circuits
  • Develop and implement security and safety knowledge, including confidential security clearance
  • Develop and implement transportation/travel information, including travel expenses paid by employer, public transportation available
  • Develop and implement work conditions and physical capabilities, including fast-paced environment, tight deadlines, attention to detail
  • Develop and implement screening questions, including are you currently legally able to work in Canada, are you willing to relocate for this position, what is your current field of study, what is your current level of study
