We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Practical Nurse to join our team at Mackenzie Health.
Job Summary:
As a Registered Practical Nurse with our organization, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in an acute care setting. You will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement effective care plans that meet the unique needs of our patients.
About the Role:
- You will assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- You will provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and providing emotional support.
- You will maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to relevant regulations and standards.
- You will communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare colleagues to ensure seamless care delivery.
Requirements:
- You must be currently registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- You should have recent nursing experience, preferably in an acute care setting.
- A minimum of 1-year experience in an acute care setting is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Recent completion of a physical assessment course is an asset.
- Membership in the Registered Practical Nurses' Association of Ontario is preferred.
Compensation:
The estimated salary range for this position is $85,000-$110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
