About the Role

This position requires a compassionate and skilled individual who can provide direct resident care, administer medications, and maintain accurate records. You will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess the needs of individual residents and develop comprehensive care plans to promote maximum independence.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
  • Provide direct resident care, including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident observations, procedures performed, and medication administration.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication.
Requirements
  • Degree in Registered Practical Nursing from an accredited institution.
  • Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Certification in Emergency First Aid, CPR, and AED.
  • Previous experience working in a healthcare setting is an asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and colleagues.
