Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Rotogravure Pressman/Woman to join our team at Polynova Industries Inc. as a key member of our printing operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mount and adjust plates or cylinders to ensure high-quality prints
  • Monitor and control ink fountains to achieve precise color and viscosity
  • Set up and operate the rotogravure press at slow speed for sample checks
  • Operate the press during regular runs, monitoring quality using computer control consoles
  • Remove and clean plates and cylinders after each press run
  • Set up and adjust in-line binding and finishing equipment
  • Lead the press crew in setting up, operating, and shutting down the press
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • At least 5 years of experience in the field or equivalent
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods
  • Attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to distinguish between colors
  • Flexibility, accuracy, and strong organizational skills
