Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Rotogravure Press Operator to join our team at Polynova Industries Inc.

In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining complex rotogravure presses, ensuring high-quality prints while meeting production deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and operate rotogravure presses to achieve optimal print quality and efficiency
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating press components
  • Collaborate with the production team to resolve any technical issues that may arise during printing operations
  • Monitor and control ink fountains, colours, and viscosity to ensure consistent print quality
  • Set up and adjust in-line binding and finishing equipment to meet production needs
Requirements:
  • 5 years or more of experience in rotogravure press operation and maintenance
  • Strong understanding of printing principles, including colour theory and ink management
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labour and stand for extended periods
