Job Title: Technical Interface Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Interface Designer to join our team at Electronic Arts. As a Technical Interface Designer, you will be responsible for creating high-quality user interfaces and experiences for our games.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement user interfaces for our games, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for players.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and art, to ensure that user interfaces meet the technical and artistic requirements of our games.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our game engines, including Unreal and Unity, to ensure that user interfaces are optimized for performance and functionality.
  • Work closely with our art team to ensure that user interfaces are visually appealing and consistent with our brand identity.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of user experience principles and best practices to ensure that user interfaces are intuitive and user-friendly.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in user interface design and game development to ensure that our user interfaces remain competitive and engaging.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in user interface design and game development.
  • Strong understanding of user experience principles and best practices.
  • Proficient in game engines, including Unreal and Unity.
  • Strong understanding of art and design principles.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with motion graphics and visual effects.
  • Experience with scripting languages, such as Python or C#.
  • Experience with version control software, such as Perforce.
