Job Title: Technical Interface Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Interface Designer to join our team at Electronic Arts. As a Technical Interface Designer, you will be responsible for creating engaging and interactive user experiences for our games.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop high-quality user interfaces for our games, including menus, HUDs, and other interactive elements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and art, to ensure seamless integration of UI elements.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our game engines, including Unreal and Unity.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in UI design and game development.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of our codebase.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in UI design and game development.
  • Proficiency in C#, Java, or other object-oriented programming languages.
  • Experience with game engines, including Unreal and Unity.
  • Strong understanding of UI design principles and human-computer interaction.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with motion graphics and animation.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages, such as Python or JavaScript.
  • Understanding of user experience principles and human-centered design.
  • Experience with version control systems, such as Perforce.
