Job Title: Salesforce Developer

Hydro Ottawa is seeking a skilled Salesforce Developer to join our team. As a Salesforce Developer, you will be responsible for configuring, customizing, and maintaining our Salesforce Service Cloud platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and customize Salesforce objects, fields, and page layouts.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on Salesforce functionality.
  • Stay up-to-date on Salesforce releases and new features.
  • Maintain and apply knowledge of the application landscape, partnering with technical and functional staff to improve usage of Salesforce.
  • Design and implement CRM Salesforce processes, including creation, review, and approval of detailed business scenarios, processes, workflows, and use cases.
  • Coordinate and/or facilitate delivery of updates to existing solutions or implementation of new solutions through adherence to best practices for change management.
  • Act as the point of contact and coordinate input from subject matter experts and participate in solution strategy development and implementation.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in a related field such as Computer Science or Information Technology.
  • A combination of formal training and relevant experience may substitute for academic requirement.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in Salesforce administration.
  • Experience with Apex, Visualforce, and/or Lightning Web Components.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Salesforce Administrator certification or equivalent experience considered an asset.
  • Experience developing strategic partnerships across functional areas considered an asset.
  • Strong computer skills; proficient in the use of office productivity and collaboration tools, preferably G Suite.
  • English essential, both oral and written; Bilingual (French/English) considered an asset.
