Carpentry Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Carpentry Supervisor to join our team at Elid Construction Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing carpentry projects, ensuring timely completion, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Coordinate and schedule carpentry projects, ensuring efficient use of resources and meeting deadlines.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise and mentor carpentry teams, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and safety protocols.
  • Material Management: Requisition and manage materials, equipment, and supplies to support project requirements.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for all personnel.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in carpentry or a related field.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work under pressure, and strong problem-solving abilities.
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced construction environment, with regular exposure to noise, dust, and other hazards. A valid driver's license and ability to work at heights are essential.
