Carpentry Supervisor Job Description

Elid Construction Inc. is seeking a skilled Carpentry Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation of carpentry components, ensuring high-quality workmanship, and maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of carpentry crews to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Inspect and approve the quality of work, identifying and addressing any defects or issues.
  • Develop and implement safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Collaborate with project managers to plan and schedule work, allocating resources and personnel as needed.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress, address concerns, and provide guidance to team members.
  • Prepare and submit reports on project status, including progress, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work under pressure, with a focus on quality and safety.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints and drawings, with knowledge of construction materials and techniques.
