Carpentry Supervisor Job Description

Elid Construction Inc. is seeking a skilled Carpentry Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation of carpentry components, ensuring timely completion of projects, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of carpentry teams to ensure efficient project completion.
  • Conduct site inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and implement quality control measures to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Collaborate with project managers to plan and schedule carpentry work.
  • Requisition materials and equipment as needed to support project requirements.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in carpentry or a related field.
  • Equivalent experience may be considered.
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced construction environment with exposure to noise, dust, and other hazards. Steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, and safety glasses/goggles are required.

  • Accurate and detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Security and Safety:
  • Bondable and willing to undergo a criminal record check.
