Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Guac Mexi Grill. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and serving of food, as well as managing a team of staff to ensure seamless service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish efficient methods to meet work schedules and ensure timely food preparation and service.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform inventory management and cost control.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that staff are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Team player with efficient interpersonal skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
