We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Infants' Daycare Worker to join our team at IC EARLY LEARNING CENTER. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for infants and toddlers, promoting their physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bathing, Diapering, and Feeding: Ensure the infants and toddlers are clean, dry, and fed on a regular basis.
  • Child-Care Programs: Develop and implement engaging programs that support the development of children, including storytelling, singing, and educational activities.
  • Health and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to health and safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and colleagues to ensure the well-being and progress of the children.
  • Observation and Reporting: Observe children's behavior and development, and submit written reports to early childhood educators or supervisors.
  • Team Collaboration: Participate in staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children, and contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: Experience in infant care is an asset.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding role requiring standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
  • Personal Suitability: Punctual, dependable, and efficient interpersonal skills are essential.
Working Conditions
  • Work Schedule: 30-40 hours per week.
  • Language: English.
