Responsibilities:
  • Bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers with care and attention to their individual needs.
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Lead activities that stimulate creativity, such as storytelling, singing, and arts and crafts.
  • Encourage children to express themselves through various forms of play and exploration.
  • Guide children in developing good eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for meal and rest periods.
  • Monitor children's progress and report any concerns to parents or guardians.
  • Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and challenges.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment for children.
Requirements:
  • Child Development Worker (ECE Level 2) certification.
  • Criminal record check and immunization records.
  • Experience in childcare is an asset.
