Job Title: Infant Caregiver

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Infant Caregiver to join our team at Little Munchkin Daycare. As an Infant Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for our youngest learners.

Responsibilities:
  • Childcare and Education: Develop and implement child-care programs that support the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of infants and toddlers.
  • Health and Hygiene: Bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers, and guide them in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
  • Engagement and Activities: Lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs, and taking children to local points of interest, and encourage creativity through art, dramatic play, music, and physical activity.
  • Communication and Reporting: Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset.
  • Certifications: Child Development Worker (ECE Level 2) and a criminal record check.
