Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervisor to join our team at the Stoney Creek Distribution Centre. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for supervising shift activities in a fast-paced, unionized environment. Your primary focus will be on training and developing new and existing employees, as well as ensuring compliance with inventory, fleet, and warehouse management procedures. Additionally, you will be responsible for quality control, SOX, and audit compliance, as well as performing other related duties and projects as assigned.

Key Responsibilities
  • Train and develop new and existing employees to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Supervise shift activities and ensure compliance with inventory, fleet, and warehouse management procedures.
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure that products are stored and handled in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Ensure compliance with SOX and audit procedures to maintain the highest level of integrity and transparency.
  • Perform other related duties and projects as assigned by management.

Requirements
  • Post-secondary education is considered an asset.
  • Previous experience with SAP is considered an asset.
  • Previous experience working in a unionized environment would be a strong asset.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety, Ministry of Transportation, and WSIB regulations would be an asset.
