Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Health Care Professional to join our team at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. As a key member of our interdisciplinary resident care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide daily personal care and support to residents, promoting their dignity and well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with residents, families, and healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Monitor and report any changes in resident condition or behavior to the healthcare team.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance your skills and knowledge in resident care.
Requirements
  • Grade 12 or equivalent education.
  • Health Care Aide Certificate from a recognized educational institution.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with elderly or clients with dementia.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
