Job Title: Personal Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team at Precious Care. As a Personal Support Worker, you will provide high-quality care and support to our clients in their homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Job Summary:
  • Provide personal care and support to clients in their homes, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry.
  • Support clients with mobility issues, including transferring and ambulating.
  • Administer medications and provide wound care as required.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Completion of a Personal Support Worker (PSW) training program or equivalent experience.
  • Valid CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs) and perform physical tasks as required.
