About the Job

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team at Precious Care. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, ensuring their dignity and comfort at all times.
  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Provide support with daily living activities, such as feeding, laundry, and light housekeeping.
  • Assist clients with mobility and transportation, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, taking into account clients' dietary needs and preferences.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, promoting their mental and emotional well-being.
Requirements
  • College/CEGEP diploma in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Valid certifications in CPR, First Aid, and Personal Support Worker.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs) and perform physical tasks as required.
