Daycare Program Director

At Tiny Hoppers Park Lawn, we are seeking a highly skilled Daycare Supervisor to join our team. As a Daycare Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of early childhood educators and caregivers in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children to grow and develop.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.

  • Maintain a clean and organized daycare environment, adhering to licensing regulations and health and safety standards.

  • Supervise staff, trainees, or volunteers, providing guidance and support to ensure the highest quality care for children.

  • Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, or supervisors to keep them informed of their child's progress and any issues that may arise.

  • Plan and organize activities for school-age children in child-care programs before and after regular school hours, ensuring their safety and well-being.

  • Assess the children's development to prepare a learning plan tailored to their needs, fostering a positive and inclusive environment.

Requirements:

  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate or equivalent.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a daycare setting, with a proven track record of success in leading teams and ensuring high-quality care.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, parents, and staff.

  • Able to maintain a non-smoking environment, adhere to health and safety standards, and ensure the well-being of children at all times.
