Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at ATS Life Sciences Systems. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing automated systems for the life sciences industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop mechanical systems, including machine design, tooling, and fixtures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets customer requirements and industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and bills of materials.
  • Conduct design reviews and provide feedback to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in mechanical design and automation.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in mechanical design, mechanical engineering, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical design, with specific exposure to pneumatic sizing, servo sizing, and automation safety standards.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
  • Strong understanding of drafting principles and machine shop techniques.
