Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at ATS Life Sciences Systems. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems and equipment for our life sciences customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop mechanical systems and equipment for life sciences applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets customer requirements and industry standards
  • Perform engineering calculations and analyze designs for compliance with applicable standards
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including drawings and bills of materials
  • Communicate with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure design meets their needs
Requirements
  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in mechanical design, mechanical engineering, or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of mechanical design experience with exposure to pneumatic sizing, servo sizing, and automation safety standards
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
