Mental Health Nurse Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Nurse Specialist to join our team at Fraser Health. As a key member of our mental health team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to individuals with mental health and substance use issues.
Key Responsibilities:
•
Assess and develop comprehensive treatment plans for clients with mental health and substance use issues
•
Collaborate with interprofessional teams to provide person-centered care
•
Provide crisis intervention and individual counseling services
•
Educate clients and families about mental health and substance use treatment options
Requirements:
•
Current registration as a Registered Nurse and/or Registered Psychiatric Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
•
Minimum 2 years of experience in mental health and substance use treatment
•
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with interprofessional teams
