Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our Brampton Distribution Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of warehouse workers, ensuring efficient and safe warehouse operations, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direction and guidance to warehouse staff, including selectors, reach truck operators, and shipper-receivers;
  • Monitor and maintain a safe working environment, adhering to Occupational Health and Safety regulations;
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and performance;
  • Manage administrative tasks, including productivity reports, inventory discrepancies, and customer service issues;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives and improve warehouse efficiency;
  • Ensure accurate inventory management and control, including cycle counts and reconciliation;
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to company standards;
  • Perform opening and closing procedures, including securing the facility and alarm system;
  • Monitor and analyze warehouse performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement;
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve labor productivity, auditing, and inventory accuracy.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a warehouse or distribution environment;
  • Lift truck and Health and Safety training and certification, or willingness to obtain;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to improve warehouse operations;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment;
  • Basic to intermediate computer skills, with ability to use inventory management systems.
