Job Title: Boilermaker

We are seeking a skilled Boilermaker to join our team at MBEZ. As a Boilermaker, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing boilers and other heavy metal equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute the fabrication and assembly of boilers and other heavy metal equipment
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements
  • Develop and implement templates and layouts for fabrication and assembly
  • Supervise and instruct apprentices and other workers as needed
  • Set up and operate heavy-metal working machines to cut and shape metal into parts
  • Fabricate and assemble boiler components, including tubes, drums, and other equipment
  • Repair and maintain boilers and other heavy metal equipment
  • Perform quality control inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
Requirements:
  • Boilermaker Trade Certification
  • Occupational Health and Safety Certificate
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certificate
  • Valid driver's license and own transportation
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Ability to lift and move heavy loads
  • Ability to work at heights and in noisy environments
