Job Title: Cost Analyst

At Syntax, we are seeking a highly skilled Cost Analyst to join our team. As a Cost Analyst, you will play a critical role in calculating product and service costs, working closely with finance and product management teams in Europe and North America.

Responsibilities:
  • Calculate unit costs for use in customer pricing, intercompany transactions, and new product analysis.
  • Monitor and track costs throughout the lifecycle of our products and services, maintaining detailed records for individual products.
  • Prepare ad hoc cost-related financial reports and manage system updates.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting activities, providing cost-related insights and recommendations.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement within cost accounting and contribute to the implementation of best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Analyze cost data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights for cost control and optimization.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 5 years of experience in cost accounting or a similar role.
  • Technology and IT industry experience is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of cost accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and cost calculation methodologies.
  • Proficiency in SAP preferred.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
