Business Analyst Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our team at Alpha Solutions. As a Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and success by analyzing data, identifying process improvements, and implementing new tools and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements that increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Gather and analyze requirements from stakeholders and define user stories for developers.
  • Conduct testing and quality assurance activities to ensure the successful implementation of software projects.
  • Provide ongoing platform support and troubleshoot technical issues as needed.
  • Analyze data and create reports to provide insights into business performance and opportunities for improvement.
  • Implement new tools and technologies to improve operations and support business growth.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop dashboards to track progress towards goals.
  • Conduct research and analyze market trends to inform business strategy.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior management.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Strong technical proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL, and Python.
  • Experience with software development methodologies and familiarity with Agile principles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Comfortable working in a high-paced dynamic environment.
  • Experience with data visualization tools is a plus.
