We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team at Kids Haven Childcare. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and general ledgers.
- Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Accounting Standards Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, including GAAP and IFRS.
- Payroll and Benefits Administration: Process payroll, manage benefits, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, optimize financial performance, and make recommendations for improvement.
- Education: College/CEGEP diploma in Accounting or related field.
- Experience: 2 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or related field.
- Skills: Proficient in accounting software, MS Excel, and other relevant tools.
- Language: Fluency in English.
