About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team at 1955753 Alberta Inc. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Payroll and Benefits: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, as well as manage benefits and other employee-related expenses.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and laws, and identify and mitigate potential financial risks.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless financial operations and provide support as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: College or CEGEP diploma in a related field.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
