We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team at Little Kitchen Academy - St. Albert. As an Accounting Clerk, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial records and ensuring the accuracy of our financial statements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
  • Payroll and Taxation: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, prepare tax returns, and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements, trial balance, and other statistical reports to provide insights into our financial performance.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies or errors.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, efficient interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
