About the Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in delivery or project management, focusing on regulatory projects in the Canadian banking sector.
- Working knowledge of Canadian banking regulations, including OSFI, FCAC, and CDIC guidelines.
- Proven experience managing teams of project managers and business analysts.
- Strong understanding of Canadian financial regulations and compliance standards.
- Experience managing large-scale portfolios with multiple regulatory projects.
- Proficiency in waterfall and agile project management methodologies and tools.
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field (Master's degree or PMP certification is a plus).
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) and tools to track portfolio progress.
About the Day-to-Day
You will lead and oversee the delivery of a portfolio of regulatory compliance projects in the Canadian banking sector.
Ensure all projects within the portfolio align with regulatory requirements and business goals, while following governance from the Enterprise PMO.
Work with Project Managers to define portfolio scope, objectives, and success metrics, ensuring continuous monitoring and reporting on project progress and regulatory adherence.
Report on the regulatory portfolio as needed by the Enterprise PMO.
Prioritize projects within the portfolio based on business needs and regulatory deadlines.
Manage, coach, and develop a team of project managers and business analysts responsible for executing the projects in the regulatory portfolio.
Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and foster career growth opportunities for team members.
Ensure project managers and business analysts adhere to best practices in project management, business analysis, and regulatory compliance.
Create a collaborative and high-performing team culture focused on accountability and continuous improvement.
Annual Compensation
The salary for this position ranges between $120,000 and $135,000 per year, depending on your knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience.
