About the Role

Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a skilled Rehabilitation Assistant to join our team at Adanac Park Lodge in Vancouver, BC. As a member of our clinical care team, you will work under the supervision of the Manager and designated therapists to provide rehabilitative therapeutic interventions to clients with complex health conditions/disabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Function as a member of the clinical care team to provide assigned rehabilitative therapeutic interventions.
  • Assist in modification of care plans and facilitate programs to help clients achieve their goals in maximizing potential for independence.
  • Report relevant observations of client's condition in writing or by utilizing basic computer literacy, manage equipment safety and inventory.

Requirements

  • Completion of a two (2) year Rehabilitation Assistant diploma.
  • Valid driver's license. Local travel requires access to a personal vehicle.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to deal with others effectively.
  • Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
  • Ability to organize work.
  • Ability to operate related equipment.
