About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Rehabilitation Assistant to join our team at East Kootenay Regional Hospital. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will work closely with physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech language pathologists to provide high-quality care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage patients in regular therapeutic interventions to improve physical, cognitive, communication, swallowing, and functional skills.
  • Work collaboratively with the rehabilitation team to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Provide support and assistance to patients with complex equipment and mobility needs.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity with a rotating schedule of 08:00 to 16:00 hours. We offer a competitive salary, excellent benefits package, and generous vacation entitlement.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

Completion of a recognized Rehabilitation Assistant Program or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.Valid Driver's License as required.What We Offer
